Novice Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don't have to worry about other, more advanced people winning their moolla.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with only a small amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
